Remanufacturing Process

Listed below is information about how we service your cooling unit:
  1. Our process begins with receiving the old cooling units, separating them, and giving them a good cleaning. We use high pressure (6,000 LB PSI ) Hydro Blaster to remove dirt, foam and rust.

  2. We remove the evaporator, all fluid lines, and the boiler (if needed) from the old unit and get it ready for flushing and welding. We flush every unit at least two times.

  3. Next, we take one of our evaporators which are manufactured from our Special Enhanced  tubing. We then weld the new fluid lines and braces on the evaporator in our rigid jigs to assure a proper fit every time.

  4. The evaporator is now welded into the coil assembly in our heavy tuber jigs. The jigs are the exact size as your refrigerator box assuring a perfect fit in your box.

  5. We pressure test the coil at 600lbs.psi for leaks using a special chemical mixture that turns red if there is any ammonia present.

  6. The unit then goes to the temperature controlled charging room (65 degrees. 365 days a year ) where the unit is charged with exact mix of ammonia and hydrogen and checked for leaks again.

  7. Next, the unit goes to the cool down area where all units are cooled down. All units are run at least 8 hours.

  8. The unit now goes to the paint shop to be cleaned again, primed and a full coat of industrial enamel paint is sprayed on, giving a bright rust resistant finish.

  9. After the coil has dried for 24 hours it goes to the foam shop where the foam is poured into our fiberglass molds. Using our molds assures you of a perfect fit every time.

  10. The unit goes to the warehouse for storage and future shipment or to be installed in a refrigerator in our shop.

  11. Lastly, the unit goes to the Shipping Department for shipment via UPS or DHL.
